Why Aim High
My job isn't just to inspect a home. It's to help you understand it. That's why I encourage clients to attend the inspection. I work as a consultant, not just a home inspector, so you can see the home with me, ask questions, and get a clear sense of what any defects actually mean. I explain what's minor, what's more significant, and what a typical repair may involve, with a strong focus on safety throughout the process. The goal is to give you straightforward information that helps you make a confident decision.
When I evaluate a home, I take a careful, steady approach. Each major system is examined methodically and explained in plain language. You'll know what's functioning properly, what needs attention, and what issues could affect comfort or safety. After the inspection, you'll receive a clear digital report with photos and practical recommendations based on the home's condition at the time of inspection.
I follow the New York State Standards of Practice and InterNACHI guidelines. Each inspection is carried out thoroughly, with the time needed to look at every accessible area of the home. At the time of inspection, I provide homeowner guides based on the property and the systems present. Afterward, I email additional resources such as a life-expectancy chart, a safe-home guide, and any other materials that may apply, including well, mold, or ventilation guides when relevant. If questions come up later, you're always welcome to contact me and I'll do my best to help.
